In April of 2014 I bought the love of my life. The Devils Clown aka Joker is my first horse and truely a dream come true to me.  I have always wanted a horse but for many reasons I couldn't get one until last year. 

Joker is a 18 year old American Quarter Horse. I have been learning the ins and outs of horse ownership over the last 8 months.  It has been a great experience with its ups and downs but I wouldn't trade a minute of a time with my horse. I have learned so much about myself and what I am capable of. 

This year Joker and I are participating in the Great Distance Derby which is a virtual derby where riders log their miles and encourage each other to get out and enjoy our horses.  I have started this blog to chronicle our rides and our experiences together. Happy Riding!!
